Putting Things in Order

How do you start your days? Do you have a morning routine? Something that jumpstart your day? 

I am a firm believer in the quote above. Mr. Rohn couldn't articulate this any better. I'm not sure about you, but I've tried and tested this theory. These last few weeks I have been making it a practice to set the tone for my days because of the simple fact that I spend most of my days in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. The demands and stress started filtering into my personal life and having a negative impact on my health. For this purpose, I found that I needed to change and today I'm sharing what I have incorporated in my morning routine. 

I'm not sure if you have heard about the Miracle Morning plan. I've started adding these simple practices before I do any of my normal morning preparation. So here it is, it's the SAVERS..

  • Silence - Start your day with silence. Spend a few moments quietly, no distractions, and take this time to focus on your inner self. Your thoughts.
  • Affirmation - Use affirmations that are aligned with your goals. Affirmations that you can take into action. 
  • Visualization - Visualize yourself in full stride throughout the day. See and feel yourself experiencing those things that you really want to see happen in the day. Get down to the details, feel those feelings. 
  • Exercise - Spend time moving your body. Don't worry about what it is or how much time, just move your body. 
  • Read - Take this time to take in something for personal development.
  • Scribe - Write, write your goals, and the action steps that you need to take to get those goals started.
